Mitford Murder Sheltering the Killers is Part of BNP's Politics!

The brutal murder that took place right next to Mitford Hospital has once again reminded us of the deep shadow of political terrorism that still looms over Bangladesh. The prime accused in this heinous incident is Jubo Dal leader Razzab Ali. He has not yet been arrested; in fact, various sources report that he is staying at his home and is being aided in hiding by a faction of the police.

This is not just an isolated incident—rather, it is a continuation of BNP’s violent political strategy. Murder, looting, arson, extortion, and land-grabbing have all become tactics in their political playbook.

The nightmare of August 5 still haunts many. The burning of police stations, attacks on law enforcement, and arson at the homes of Awami League leaders and activists were all planned and led by BNP, Chhatra Dal, and Jubo Dal. Even businesses and shops run by Awami League members were not spared from their attacks and looting.

There is also a long-standing foreign conspiracy and financial network behind this violent politics. BNP’s exiled leader Tarique Rahman continues to run an extortion racket in the country through his loyal Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal leaders. This is no longer just political terrorism—it has become a full-fledged criminal enterprise.

So the question arises: despite all these crimes, why has a part of the law enforcement failed to arrest the killers? Why is a clearly accused murderer like Razzab Ali being shielded? If the law itself becomes biased, where is the safety for the public?

At this moment, our demands are clear:

✅ Immediate arrest and swift trial of Razzab Ali and all others involved in the Mitford murder.

✅ Law enforcement must take a firm stance to stop the political sheltering of criminals.

✅ Identify and expel terrorists from within political parties.

✅ Investigate and take legal action against the foreign extortion ring led by Tarique Rahman.

Bangladesh stands at a critical juncture today. Those who spread violence in the name of democracy and lead murders under the guise of politics must be unmasked. This country was built on the spirit of the Liberation War—there is no room here for the politics of killers.⁩
