Incidents of Rape and Violence in Bangladesh Increased in March 2025: MSF Report

The Manobadhikar Sangskriti Foundation (MSF) has reported a disturbing rise in violence across Bangladesh in September 2024, with a sharp increase in cases targeting women, children, minorities, and political activists. A total of 208 incidents of violence against women and children were recorded—70 more than August—including rape, gang rape, and sexual violence against girls with disabilities.
