Ailing Hindu mother dies after Tarique Rahman turns down her plea to meet her son before death

Published on

Minority rights activist mother’s last wish to meet illegally jailed son. “My son will not be able to hold his grief if the state snatches away his right to get a glimpse of his ailing mother for once. His condition is much worse. My earnest plea to you (prime minister) – please release him or grant him bail so that he can meet me at once as my last wish”- reads excerpts of a letter written before his death by Sandhya Rani Dhar, who lost her battel for life today at hospital.

Illegally incarcerated by Yunus regime and denied of bail for over 600 days by BNP also, her son Chinmoy Khrisna Das, became an outspoken and iconic voice against the brutal minority repression under Yunus regime.

Charges pressed against the persecuted minority rights activist to jail him are so outrageous that turned the entire justice system into a weapon to justify the brutal suppression of minorities. And by rejecting the plea, Tarique Rahman proved his government’s scheme to cover up Yunus sponsored minority repression. The world can not care less.⁩
