    The shocking attack on the historic Sri Sri Ras Temple in the Shivbati area of Ward 9 of Paikgachha Municipality in Khulna has once again raised a troubling question across the country: is Bangladesh once again becoming a laboratory for fundamentalists?

    Late at night, extremists entered the temple, vandalized several idols, and committed an act of extreme humiliation by hanging shoes on the deities.

    The illegal Jamaat–Yunus regime and the fundamentalist forces operating under its patronage are fueling fear and violence against minority communities across the country. Attacks on temples, desecration of idols, and persecution of minorities are all part of a broader fundamentalist agenda.

    History bears witness that whenever anti-independence and fundamentalist forces have risen in Bangladesh, minority communities have been subjected to unbearable persecution.

    The silence of the illegal Jamaat–Yunus leadership itself proves that this dark project of persecuting minorities is planned and deliberate.
