After France based self claimed Pro Pakistan activist, Pinaki BhattaChary, publicly instigated a terror attack on Indian diplomatic establishments in Bangladesh, his followers attacked the Deputy High Commission of India in Chittagong.
Followers of Osman Hadi, who Yunus declared as a July revolutionary, also joined the attack, while cops were reluctant to thwart the attackers despite an earlier announcement to wage violence against Indian missions.
On December 18, the pro-Pakistan political party in Bangladesh, Jamaat e Islami’s student wing leader, also called for bulldozing the building of the embassy, while a top aide of Yunus advocated kicking the high commissioner from Bangladesh, instigating war against India.
Before the attack, an orchestrated, unsubstantiated campaign was carried out online, blaming India for the attack by these pro-Pakistan forces.
