Terrorists Brutally Murdered Jubo League Leader Abdul Kader Milon in Charr Hajari

    Published on

The wave of political repression in Bangladesh continues to intensify under the Dr Yunus-led interim regime. Last night, Abdul Kader Milon, the General Secretary of Charr Hajari Union Jubo League, was brutally murdered in a targeted attack by BNP-Jamaat militants—exposing yet another deadly chapter of political violence that plagues the country’s democracy.

Witnesses confirmed that Milon was ambushed and hacked to death by a group of armed attackers affiliated with extremist political factions. The assassination has sent shockwaves through the region, further heightening fears of instability and deepening concerns over human rights violations in Bangladesh.

“This is not politics. This is bloodshed,” said a local political organizer. “When a man is killed for his political identity, and his family cannot even mourn in peace, it’s clear that freedom of speech in Bangladesh is under siege.”

Under the Dr Yunus interim regime, critics argue that state control has collapsed, enabling Islamist and ultra-right militant groups to operate with impunity. Instead of curbing violence, the regime’s silence and selective justice have emboldened political terror.

Milon’s killing is more than a personal tragedy—it is a warning. The erosion of democracy and protection for political activists is escalating rapidly, with freedom of speech and dissent being met with blades and bullets.

Local Awami League members are calling for immediate arrests and the highest punishment for the murderers, vowing that Milon’s blood will not go unavenged.
