Wave after wave of arrests continue in the capital! This time, 11 dedicated activists from the Awami League, Chhatra League, Jubo League, and Sramik League have been arrested by the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) — for the “crime” of holding a protest march. But is marching now a crime? Or has raising one’s voice automatically become “conspiracy” these days? According to DB sources, the protesters were allegedly “trying to create panic in the capital and destabilize the country.” Yet, those who seize roads day after day, unleash violence, torch government offices, and attack minority homes face no serious action. Why? Because they are the favorites of Yunus’s regime! Marching leads to jail, looting leads to a minister’s post— Is this Yunus’s definition of “reform”?
