Bangladesh is now shrouded in a Taliban-like shadow — and in this darkness, the biggest victims are the Hindu minority community.
Last night at 10:30 PM, in Ward No. 8 of Konabari, Gazipur, a horrific assassination attempt was carried out on Sanjijit Mondal, the president of the local Puja Mandap committee and a respected goldsmith.
Terrorists arrived in a white private car and brutally attacked him from behind with sharp weapons, repeatedly hacking him — leaving a cultural Hindu leader covered in blood. Their barbarity did not stop there — they detonated three cocktails (homemade bombs) at the scene, spreading panic all around.
This was not an ordinary attack. This is state-backed political terrorism against the Hindu community.
